Costumes for Cats

What are some good ideas for a Cheshire Cat costume for my school production of Alice in Wonderland. It has to be school appropriate and modest while creative. There is also a limit to what I will wear, for example a skirt. We are not thinking of a striped costume, but instead black, blue, red or white, or a mixture. What are some ideas that will make me look like a cat, but is still good for a high school production.

What else should i add for my sexi Cheshire cat costume from Alice in wonderland? so far i have these thigh high socks that are hot pink and light pink and im going to wear black booty shorts and a pink shirt and maybe ill try to find some cat ears? and i wear really cute pink makeup! does this sound good?
