What should i wear to improvise a cat costume?

(I lost the other one) what should I wear for the rest of my outfit? Be creative! I don’t care how crazy your idea is! (Yeah I know I’m really late)

So far i was thinking black spandex shorts with either black fish nets or knee high socks. But i don’t know what kind of shirt/shoes/makeup to wear. I also have black cat ears & i’m going to buy a tail.

How to make a cat costume more interesting?
Posted in Cat costumes on October 22nd, 2010 by adminI’m going as a cat this year (possibly) for halloween. How can I make it more interesting, different from other cat costumes? I’d wear:
-a black cat-ear headband (with white inners)
-a long-sleeved black shirt
-a tight black vest
-rufflled black skirt with black leggings (or bell-bottomed black pants)
-a tail pinned on the skirt (or pants)
-black converse (or black flats)
I’d also wear eyeliner on my cheeks like whiskers, and eyeliner and mascara on my eyes.

What Materials Are Good For Sewing Your Own Female Fantasy/Comic/Video Game Costumes?

And by costumes, I don’t mean those cheap renting costumes, I mean what those female fantasy/comic/video game characters wear such as Harley Quinn, Catwoman, Black Cat, Poison Ivy, Batgirl, etc. Do they wear the cotton type or those swimsuit kinda fabric? Is it easy to make? Please elaborate more. I’m excited to hear about it.

Updated note: Thanks for the feedback. What about the swimsuit materials? What is it called and is it useful to create a real catsuit-like costumes like in the comics?

Teen girl's black cat costume without being too seductive?

How could I de-seductify (if that’s a word? lol) a black cat costume consisting of a black leotard or legless bodysuit, tights, tail, ears, and makeup? Would black cheer shorts look okay? Please feel free to share ideas or links. Thanks!
Also, I have black medium length hair. Should I leave it down or put it up? Any hairstyle reccomendations?
